It has been 15 years since France and Eric embarked on their unique way of life. For most of the year they live on a boat stuck in ice.
The boat serves as a logistical platform for scientific projects in the Arctic. France is a sailor, Eric is a scientist and it was in combining their passions and talents that they first became and couple and then a family. Today, 9-year-old Léonie and 6-year-old Aurore share this unusual lifestyle, only 60km from the North Pole.
