When we think of “secret agents” we always assume it's in an adventurous context, running along the top of a moving train, killing anyone that gets in their way.

That could not be further from reality. For one reason only: the actions carried out by the DGCE (The General Directorate for External Security) must remain as confidential as possible so that they cannot be linked to the French state. “Agents of the Shadows” offers a totally authentic, exclusive portrait of the men and women on the ground of the French intelligence force.
